I can’t believe it’s been so long! Almost 4 months since I last posted! It sounds so long but my goodness this time has flown!
My days have suddenly become filled with nappies and antenatal classes and our house is filled with teeny-tiny socks and baby grows! It’s been such an exciting time of looking for a house also! For the first time since Wihan and I have been married, we will be moving into our own space! I can’t wait to do a post on that and show some before and after photos! But that will only be in a few months time as our tenant will only move out after Tiara is born – oh did I mention that we found out we’re having a girl and that we decided to call her Tiara? I can’t remember…
Anywhoo, I feel like I’ve been completely blessed with an easy pregnancy! No complications, no major mood swings or cravings or anything of the sort. It feels like I’ve just gained a lot of weight over the last few months 😉 Which is also weird because around 20 weeks I remember feeling HUGE and now, at 34 weeks I wake up many mornings and think “Wow, my tummy feels so small today”… Until I see myself in a mirror 😉
Last time I posted we’d just gone for our first scan! Our little princess measured a whole 6cm and weighed 53g! At our last checkup she weighed 1.96kg and just her femur measures more than 6cm! At the end of May we went for our 4D scan and the lady said that little Tiara is one of the busiest babies she’d seen in quite a long time! Kicking and turning all the time! And I feel it! Some days it drives me up the wall but at all times I’m so grateful to know that it means she’s healthy that I have to smile each time she kicks me in my ribs 🙂
It’s still very surreal to think that in just over a month Wihan and I will be parents and our whole world will suddenly revolve around taking care of another little human being! There have been days where I’ve struggled to wrap my head around it… Inside me is a little person with emotions, dreams, purpose…
