I was so excited about this session! After mostly assisting throughout the year, it felt like this was my first real shoot of 2014. It was also my first session where the couple had gotten really involved and chosen their own venue. We met at the Johannesburg Country Club on a beautiful November afternoon.
These two met at church in 2012 and became really good friends before realising that there was actually something more… After 5 months, Francois asked her out and less than a year later he proposed. Wendy first contacted me about their engagement shoot after friends of theirs had given them an e-shoot as a gift (contact me for more info on that). I asked her how Francois had proposed and her reply had me in tears! Let’s just say that this guy has got the romance thing down! 😉 Francois’ love for Wendy is almost tangible – see for yourself… Here are a few of my favourites from their session

I just love how peaceful Wendy looks – like only a woman can when she knows her heart is safe with the man she loves…

Wendy’s ring was almost as photogenic as her 😉 These have got to be some of my favourite ring shots to date!

Wendy’s gorgeous dress (from Forever New) was a birthday gift from Francois – not only does it look stunning on her but wow does it make her eyes pop…

These two will be saying their “I Do’s” at the gorgeous Avianto at the end of October and I have the great honouring of capturing it! So blessed to be a part of such beautiful love stories!
