I loved this wedding! Alessandro and Janelize met me last November and told me that they weren’t keen on photos of themselves so they didn’t really want couple photos. What?! I asked them to think about it and reconsider and they agreed to at least 30mins. Their couple photos are some of my all-time favourites!
Alessandro and Janelize had a very relaxed morning wedding. They got married in court and then had more of a wedding celebration with their family and friends. In fact, they were so relaxed that I was a little freaked out on the day! I love relaxed brides but Janelize was SO relaxed that I wasn’t even sure how to handle it, haha. It was great!
There were so many DIY details at the wedding: from the handmade favours (headband/scarf for the ladies and bowtie for the gentlemen) to the benches the ceremony was held on! Alessandro and Jenelize’s dad spent a weekend making the benches. Janelize spent what I can only imagine would be ages making the origami hearts that were used as details throughout the whole wedding.

Janelize is a music teacher so musical details were also a big part of the day
It was SUCH a relaxed day and
Janelize’s sister is a costume designer and made Janelize’s dress for her. It perfectly suited her personality. I adored the colours of her dress and flowers paired with Alessandro’s blue suit!
After the ceremony Janelize surprised with Alessandro with a “flash mob” – the guests had secretly been practising! It was awesome to see the surprised look of Alessandro’s face!
And here are just a few of my favourite couple photos! These two are so relaxed that it was magical having them in front of my camera!

The autumn leaves just added such great colour!
Sandro and Janelize, thank you so much for having me a part of your day. Your love is beautiful and I know it will only grow deeper.
